New “Pause Verify Report – Every Day” Employee Training Video Available
The Office of the Comptroller released a new video reminding employees across the Commonwealth that cybersecurity isn’t just an annual training — it’s a daily mindset: Pause Verify Report Every Day. The video is available in the PowerDMS Internal Controls resources and can be shared with staff as part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month [PowerDMS login required].
Departments are now required to provide periodic cybersecurity awareness reminders to staff, in addition to the mandatory annual cybersecurity awareness training. Regular reminders help strengthen awareness, reduce the risk of operational disruptions, and minimize potential financial losses from incidents or fraud.
